Five-star guard Jalen Warley of Westtown high school announced his commitment to Florida State University on Sunday.
“I feel like FSU specializes in big guards and playing in the ACC has been my dream since I was young,” Warley says in an interview with Stock Risers.
This was a huge recruiting win for the Seminole’s. With Warley’s commitment, the five-star boosted FSU’s recruiting class ranking to the No. 1 spot for 2021 prospects.
Even though Coach Leonard Hamilton and Co. offered Warley later than others, “Coach Hamilton made me feel like a priority every time i spoke to him over the phone,” the guard claims in the same Stock Risers interview.
At the university, the rising senior will be joining three 4-star recruits in Matthew Cleveland, Bryce McGowens, and John Butler, along with 3-star Naheem Mcleod.
